B-SIDES

BLUES FOR SUCKERS

Released: 27th May 1996 (Taken from The Grave & The Constant EP)

Highest Chart Position: 72

- country version of 'Bear Hug'. A fun, sleazy and swinging slice of bouncing blues.

THE BALLAD OF LARRY DAVIS

Released: 26th April 1999 (1st B-SIDE to Korean Bodega)

Highest Chart Position: 15

- very chilled-out and relaxing. Couple some supremely seductive guitar with some highly effective piano, add a little trumpet and grind it all onto a vaguely funky beat and you're onto a winner.

SLEEPYHEAD

Released: 26th April 1999 (2nd B-SIDE to Korean Bodega)

Highest Chart Position: 15

- funky, laid-back jazz song with a highly effective trumpet-driven chorus. Doesn't deserve to be associated with the term B-SIDE.

EVERYTHING UNDER THE STARS

Released: 26th February 2001 (B-SIDE to LOCO)

Highest Chart Position: 5

- rocky rap song taken from the soundtrack of animated epic 'Titan A.E'

SAVE THE BABIES

Released: 1st September 2003 (B-SIDE to Too Hot)

Highest Chart Position: 61

- This is a song which is probably going to have to grow on me. It's an energetic rock song but the chorus isn't too memorable and it doesn't really go anywhere. Probably a good idea they left it off the album then.
