The Main Cast and Crew
Jack Shanks (David Anderson, executive producer)

Jack Shanks presently goes to St John's School Leatherhead, where he recently played the title role in the classic Moliere play 'Tartuffe' . He has also appeared on stage in'The Adventures of Ulysses' , 'Spirit', 'The Wind in the Willows' and as the title role in 'The Demon Headmaster'. A wonderfully comic actor, he is an avid movie buff and a huge fan of James Bond. His previous films include 'A Piece Of Rubbish' (2001) (filmed coincidentally by 'bankrupt' producer James Kimber), a fantastic tribute to Spider-man director Sam Raimi's 'Evil Dead' trilogy. His upcoming projects include 'From Dusk Till Dawn of the Dead' (2002), directed by fellow movie maestro Dave Thoms and starring Jason Fingland. He currently resides in Clandon, Surrey.
Daisy North (Jessica Summers)

This is Daisy's feature film debut (I think) after appearing in a host of stage productions, including, among others, turning in a fantastic performance as Mariane opposite Jack in 'Tartuffe'. Smart, funny and beautiful, Daisy is one of the few actresses today who can convincingly do both happy and sad. Always happy, caring and enthusiastic, she is due to cameo in this year's 'From Dusk Till Dawn of the Dead' . She currently lives in Epsom, Surrey.
Andrew Watson (Sebastian Cisco, photographer/editor/writer/director)
Not unlike Jack and Daisy, Andrew currently goes to St John's School Leatherhead and also appeared in 'Tartuffe' as Monsieur Loyal. This is Andrew's full length film debut after appearing in various short films featuring the likes of Jack Shanks, James Kimber and Josh Fedder. His stage credentials include: 'Joseph and the Technicoloured Dream Coat' , 'The Mikado', 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Adventures of Ulysses', 'Spirit', 'The Demon Headmaster', 'The Wind in the Willows' and 'Julius Caesar'. The script for 'bankrupt' is rumoured to have taken him 4 years to complete. His only other notable film credit was as Randy in Paul Jagger's belated slasher sequel 'Scream: The Next Generation' (2000), which was shut down after a fight broke out on set (involving two very angry actors, one very angry director, copious amounts of water and extremely violent use of garden furniture - the footage of this has not yet been found). His upcoming films include zombie flick 'From Dusk Till Dawn of the Dead' (2002), noir thriller 'The Day that Never Was' (2004) and insane horror comedy musical 'Stalkers Anonymous' (2003), written, directed and starring himself and William Hayes (more on this on the site soon). He has recently acquired the title of 'the most sarcastic man in showbusiness' and is publically obsessed with acting, music,'The Sopranos' (1999-?), 'Spider-man' (2002), Frank Sinatra, Chris Rea's 'Driving Home For Christmas' , Fun Lovin' Criminals and Jon Favreau's indie comedy 'Swingers' (1996). He is presently living in East Horsley, Surrey.
Patrick King (Detective Whitmore, cinematography, editor, producer)

Patrick takes a charismatic approach to his role as alcoholic Detective Whitmore. Currently studying at St John's Leatherhead, Patrick has an extensive background in the arts. As well as acting, Patrick's ambition is to be the next Santana. He has rocked the casbah on several occasions and himself and Watson are currently preparing for a school concert (where they will performing the likes of Blues Brothers classics -'Gimme Some Lovin' and 'Everybody Needs Somebody To Love'- and the monumental 'Scooby Snacks' by Fun Lovin' Criminals). He lives in Dorking, Surrey. And yes Patrick…They are still making 'The Sopranos'.
Dave Thoms (Detective Noxon, first assistant director)
Mr David Thoms is the latest and greatest addition to the cast. Currently focusing on his career as a director, 'Canadian Dave' (as people like to call him) recently completed work on his first short film, the suspense thriller 'The Hitch-Hiker', starring Jason Fingland and Jack Shanks. The film was given it's world premiere at the St John's School, Leatherhead multi-media studio on Monday 19th May 2003. This year, as well as starring in 'bankrupt', Dave is finally set to begin production on his dream project, a homage to the movies of George A. Romero and Robert Rodriguez, 'From Dusk Till Dawn Of The Dead.' His whereabouts are currently unknown but recent studies suggest that he could be anywhere at any time.
William Hayes (William Wong, executive producer)

Will is not unlike his character, in that he is clever, scientific, loves playing the piano, speaks Japanese and likes to be different. He currently goes to St George's College, Weybridge (where he appeared in a production of 'Julius Caesar' with Watson and Loyd-Holmes) and with 'bankrupt', makes his film debut. He has composed music and written for the upcoming stalkathon 'Stalkers Anonymous' (2003). In 2001 he met 'Friends' actor David Schwimmer on the set of 'Band of Brothers' (2001). He lives two minutes from Legoland in Windsor.
William Newman (Marty Lewis, executive producer)
Along with Hayes, Will is currently studying at St George's College, Weybridge and lives in Laleham Village, just outside Staines. Will is no stranger to the big screen (or in our case should I say small screen). His dad has worked as assistant director on such films as the 'Star Wars Trilogy' (1977-1983) and because of this he has appeared as an extra in such films as 'Sleepy Hollow' (1999), 'Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace' (1999), 'About a Boy' (2002) and 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' (2001). In addition, he recently cameoed in a scene with actor Damian Lewis in the Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks tv war drama 'Band of Brothers' (2001). Last summer he worked as a production runner on the set of the sequel to 'Shanghai Noon' (2000), 'Shanghai Knights' (2003). He is currently working on the set of the 'Thunderbirds' movie (2004). He has signed on to cameo in 'Stalkers Anonymous' (2003).
(aka- William Loyd-Holmes)
Joshua Fedder (Johnny Sirico)
Josh makes his film debut with 'bankrupt' and is one of the most energetic actors in the film (it is ironic, then that he spends most of his performance lying on a sofa). His stage appearances include 'The Adventures of Ulysses', 'The Wind in the Willows' and'The Demon Headmaster'. Josh goes to Gordons School and lives in Pyrford, Woking. In 1995, he recorded an album together with director Watson, producer Kimber and old cohort Stuart Abbott, under the name R.A.T. Mysteriously, they never made another record. He has been best friends with Jack for around 14 years.
Christopher Bampfylde (Tony Sofriano)
According to Chris, his performance as the tough guy gangster is drawn from personal experience. I repeat, 'According to Chris…' Chris is at school at St John's Leatherhead and when he's older, he plans to start up the Guildford Mafia. Like I said, '…plans…' Chris's stage appearances include 'The Mikado' and 'Spirit'. Chris has known Andrew since 1987 (they used to be neighbours) and thinks of himself as the original Reservoir Dog. This is Chris's first legal film and the first in which he appears together with his pet bassett hound, Picasso. Chris resides in Effingham, Surrey (the centre for England's organised crime, or should I say disorganised crime).
Anthony Adams (Jail Guard)
Being recently awarded the title of 'Most Hyperactive Person In Showbiz' is not Anthony's only notable accomplishment over the past two years. As well as playing the role of Cleante in last year's production of 'Tartuffe', in December 2002 he starred in his own devised piece of theatre, 'Double D'. In addition he is cameoing in one of the hottest movie projects of the year (easy now) and recently Anthony played not one, not two, not three but four roles in the St John's School drama group workshop performance of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland'. And although he was well cast in all four of his roles, it is probably his interpretation of the Caterpillar, which was most memorable for the audience. Sources currently suggest that Anthony was born 'a long time ago…in a galaxy far, far, away.
James Kimber (computer effects/cinematography/editor/producer)
James is the ultimate technical whizkid. If there's one thing he doesn't know about computers I'd like to hear it. James goes to Cranleigh School, and is the proud creator of the first official 'bankrupt' site. His stage appearances include 'The Mikado', 'Spirit', 'Joseph and the Technicoloured Dreamcoat', 'The Wind in the Willows' and 'The Demon Headmaster'. James is stuck with the difficult job of both editing the film and actually making it. A self-confessed 'Big Brother' addict, James was cinematographer on Jack Shanks's 'A Piece of Rubbish' (2001) and lives in Guildford, Surrey.
